Regular savings

Goal-oriented savings and proactive suggestions for consciously setting aside the amount left at the end of the month.

How does it work?

We all know New Year’s resolutions: “This year I really will set aside fifty thousand forints at the beginning of every month.” Then an unexpected expense or a birthday comes along, and somehow the saving never happens. The human brain is simply not wired to give up immediate rewards for a distant goal. Szumma’s retail savings module removes willpower from the equation and automates success.

Drawing on data from the built-in budgeting feature, the system not only analyses past spending but also reliably predicts the future. It can identify smaller and larger amounts that you are unlikely to spend during the current month and immediately makes a proactive suggestion to save them. You can also create specific, goal-oriented savings projects in the application, whether for the deposit on a new car, a child’s university tuition or a portfolio that supports a comfortable retirement.

What does this look like in everyday life?

You have set a goal in Szumma to save for a big family holiday by the sea next summer. At the end of November, the system analyses your bank account and sees that you spent much less than planned on restaurants and clothing. HUF 25,000 remains from your monthly budget, which you are now very unlikely to spend. The application immediately notifies you: “You did really well this month. Shall we put this remaining HUF 25,000 into your ‘Summer Holiday 2025’ goal, bringing you one step closer to the seaside?” Once again, you approve the smart Payment Request in your own bank with a single tap, and the amount is safely in your savings account. Completely painless, almost unnoticeable wealth building. Szumma’s goal is to help you build wealth and save without having to think about it.

All your finances, finally in one place.
