All questionsSzumma is a Hungarian-developed digital financial assistant application that automatically organises, categorises and analyses users’ banking transactions.
Its purpose is to provide financial transparency, expense tracking, recognition of spending habits and simple support for financial decisions.
Szumma’s automatic categorisation feature classifies transactions on three levels, for example Expense → Transport → Fuel.
The model determines the category from transaction metadata, the merchant name and previous patterns.
Szumma’s Financial Assistant (PFM) module collects, organises and visualises financial data: expenses, income, trends, categories, periods and balances.
Its role is to provide an understandable overview of your finances without making decisions.
Intelligent budgeting analyses the user’s previous spending and automatically suggests monthly limits.
The feature uses notifications to indicate overspending, an approaching limit or a budget that is being kept successfully.
